What is the difference between the engagement models?
The difference is who directs the work and who is accountable for delivery. With Dedicated Senior Engineer, you set priorities and CG Tech directs the work and stands behind the person. With Tech Lead + Delivery, CG Tech runs delivery for a small team. With Governed Squad, CG Tech is accountable for the entire workstream, under an SLA.
How do I know which model is right for me?
Start with the diagnostic. In the conversation, we look at your context, your risks and the technical leadership available, and recommend the model that makes sense, if any does.
What does CG Tech consider a senior professional?
Senior is a published definition: proven experience with production systems, documented architecture decisions, a track record of mentoring and clear communication with the business. Every professional goes through a technical interview run by senior engineers.
Is the team in the proposal the team that starts?
Yes. The team is named in the proposal and validated by your team before the start. Any change follows the continuity policy.
What happens if a professional leaves?
The named backup takes over follow-up, we present a replacement of the same seniority within the contractual deadline, and they work alongside the outgoing person during an overlap period paid by CG Tech. The handover is only complete when your team validates the handover checklist.
Can CG Tech replace a key person without telling me?
No. Changing a key person on CG Tech’s initiative requires prior notice as defined in the contract.
How do I track what the team is delivering?
Every week you receive a dashboard with lead time, throughput, rework, test coverage, risks and pending decisions. Every month there is a steering meeting with the delivery manager, an executive report and a continuity report.
Do you use AI in development?
Yes, under a written policy: client data and code do not train models, every suggestion goes through human review, approved tools are listed in the contract and usage is traceable in the delivered code.
How does the LGPD apply?
Under the LGPD (Brazil’s data protection law), the client is usually the controller and CG Tech acts as the processor, handling data only according to the client’s instructions. Every contract includes a data processing agreement covering security measures, sub-processors and incident procedures.
Who manages the professionals day to day?
CG Tech. We direct the work and manage and replace the professionals. Your team sets goals, priorities and acceptance criteria. This split is written into the contract.
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the model, the team composition and the duration. The proposal, with a named team, is sent after the diagnostic.
